Return Policy

Resellable Condition: All items must be in a condition suitable for resale, meaning it should be something you’d be happy to receive at your job site.

• Non-Resalable Items: Any items deemed non-resalable will either be donated or discarded at the discretion of IBS.

• Return Preparation: All returns must be grouped together and properly covered to maintain their resellable condition until pickup.

• Return Confirmation: Please send a picture of the stacked returns to either your salesperson or yard staff to ensure accurate pickup.

• Regular Stocked Products: Full credit will be issued for all stock items returned in resellable condition within 90 days of delivery.

• Special Order Products: Special-order items in resellable condition will be returned to the distributor. Most distributors charge a flat 25% restocking fee. Please note that this excludes flooring, tile, and carpet.

If Interstate Building Supply makes an error with your order, we will take the necessary steps to resolve the situation.
